Nah, Culpepper won't be hurt by this. Moss will be, since he has a craptastic QB. He'll be throwing fits and storming off a lot more next season.

He changed his mind? Maybe he did and maybe he didn't, but this isn't his decision unless he has a clause in his contract that stipulates that he can deny being traded.

See Terrell Owens last year when traded to the Ravens, refuse to take the physical.

Haha..Raiders suck. I wonder what has-beens they will sign on Defense this year, as that was their biggest issue. That and they are the Raiders.

Collins led the Giants to a Superbowl with much inferior recievers. He can be very good.

The Vikings will be fine without him. They have Burleson as the go to guy and a few other supporting receivers. They get Kleinsasser back off IR this season to go with Wiggins for a nice 1-2 TE combo. They have starting RB's coming out the yinyang. They get an above average middle LB and the seventh pick in this year's draft. All that and they have more salary cap room that any team in the NFL. With all that money, they could pick up a quality DB like Rolle who was just cut and there are so many upper tier free agent WR's it's not even funny. Like I said, they are fine...:)

Collins has the arm. he always has.

he just isn't the smartest QB in the NFL.

if you get him trained in a system and limit his decision making, he can be very effective.

right now, i'd take Collins over Gannon.

Raiders were doing okay with Gannon, but tanked with Collins. Collins took too many gambles and lost resulting in INTs. But not sure if Gannon is coming back. Gannon 3 years ago was > than Collins ever has been. Not sure about now.

Yeah, now we'll have to face him twice each season. Our secondary is young, and I think we should get a legitimate corner and move Jammer to safety. Jammer is a heavy hitter and would be more suited for the safety position.

Being a minnesotaian, i cant wait until we get rid of moss.

We will be better off without him, expecially if we get good drafts.

Vikings got ripped off! Napoleon Harris and the 7th pick for Moss?! That 7th pick better be Barry Sanders!

Truer words could not be spoken. I dated a girl in college who was best friends with Jerry Porter's g/f, he had gotten her pregnant and punched her in the stomach. Many times we went over to her place and she would have bruises on her face or arms, she told my chick that Porter used to rough her up. All I know now is that she must be getting a pretty fat child support check every month!

You mean, more like Minnesota. They can still sign free agents like Burress or I.Bruce to replace Moss, and still save a shatload, let alone what they got from the Raiders for him. You're not going to lose that much production with either one of those FA's either. Great move for Minny, they unload the big contract, the classless act, and will most likely improve.

My thoughts exactly. I hate the Raiders with a passion, and Moss fits right in with the silver and black. I hope the Chargers get a good corner with their 1st rd pick this year to improve their secondary. With Moss, Porter, and Curry the Chargers going to need some help back there.
