Mosquito trap, bait or something

Looking for a Mosquito KILLER to kill the mosquitos that get onto my porch after the screen door has been opened. Even if the screen door is open for 1 sec, 20 mosquitos are on the porch! The state bird here in FL should be the MOSQUITO! They are huge here and get over 1/2inch long.
My wife and I have 4 cats that stay out there at night. They have it made other than the damn mosquitos. I have 2x nice 8' cat condos set up for them out there.

Suggestions on a trap, zapper or something? Don't want fried or glued cats for those of you thinking that (spraying "Off" on the cats was a thought). Need to consider the children's safety though :laugh:
I found one but I don't really trust all those things. Need something that works. Spending up to $200.00

mosquitos suck. swarm outside my house a week after hurricane ivan.

a buddy of mine tried some variant of a trap, and it helped. but the sheer numbers of the bastards is just too much.

I believe those are mayflies which resemble a mosquito but don't bite Mosquitos don't swarm like this.
Do you live near a lake or pond?

no. hmmm you may be right. i got a close up view, and was being bitten by mosquitos that evening, but they couldve came from anywhere.
