Do you the precise age when someone becomes mature enough to drive? I'm not talking about the legal age (which is different in different parts of the world).

I'm sorry, are you arguing with me or agreeing with me? Assuming the former (and going with this analogy):

16 year olds are allowed to drive now. This is a fact. How much younger they have the ABILITY to drive is debatable.

Mosques are allowed to be four blocks away from WTC with little to no controversy. This is a fact. How much closer they CAN be built is (apparently) debatable.

Isn't that what this whole thread is about?

Isn't the real reason you keep bringing up the point because you think that since there's no exact answer that the whole question is stupid? If not, I misunderstood

Very true.
Still ... you don't go from bankrupt waiter to developer of a $100M property in 2 years. Shady!

Since you have not figured it out ....

Bankruptcy laws in the United states are meant to protect personal wealth.

Donald Trump's Empire has gone under twice, and he seems to be getting by ...

And being that you are oblivious to the obvious, sloooooow pay is not no pay.

Welcome to the machine. When you grow up maybe you will figure it out.

... “his face could have run into my hand.”

Bobby Allison says it in 1979 and becomes a folk hero  (Actually, he said, "He just kept punching me in the fist with his nose ..." when referring to a fight which occurred after a crash on the last lap of the first national broadcast of the Daytona 500.

For that I give El-Gamal a +1.

Saudi oil money builds most of the Mosques in the west and a lot elsewhere. How else are they going to give oil money back to us? Booz Allen Hamilton, Bechtel, Schlumberger and Halibuton etc can only do so much work for them after which they buy other stuff. Stocks, bonds and promoting their religion. This is a problem because it's more fundamental than many other places and secs. For example I've heard Pakistanis say they don't care for the fundi Saudi Wahab maddassas set up in Pakistan radicalizing many.

According to the media he was a restaurant waiter in 2005 and didn't even have $15k to his name in 2008:

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2010/08/30/who-is-the-man-behind-the-ground-zero-mosque/

So how the hell did this guy get the money to build that mosque for $100 million? If that is not shady, I do not know what is.

so when the mormons raise a shit ton of money its not shady...but when a muslim does..?? unless you have some specific evidence of bad money this seems quite ridiculous

hahaha.

El-Gamal first said he didn’t hit the man, but arrest documents obtained by CBS 2 showed he later conceded “his face could have run into my hand."

Please post your tax returns here. Otherwise it's fairly shady to me you have money to pay for internet access.

I didn't realize that interent access was so expensive?

Seriously, you lefites are so helter skelter on things it's no wonder you're losing the battle of public opinion. No one seems to have any sort of long term startegy, they're just making things up as they go along and hoping something sticks.

You must not look at polls

I'm sorry, I meant "exposed as faux-outrage by all reasonable, thinking people". I have yet to hear a logical, well thought out argument as to why this community center should not be built.

I guess conservatives have decided Obama is handling domestic and foreign policy just fine, since this side issue has been the focus of their outrage for so long. It's even knocked illegal immigrants off the front page, and I've barely heard a peep about the Evil Communist Obama Health Care Takeover lately.

Left-wingers are just as outraged over the outrage as conservatives are actually outraged over mosque. Honestly, I agree with Howard Dean that the world will not end if the mosque is built or not built. It takes two to tango, it be nice if pro-mosquers would stop acting like they aren't just as into the issue as everyone else.

Reading comprehension? Maybe read the article and my question and try again?

The steel workers union in NY already told them they will not build it.

Nice to know that people IRL aren't morons like so many people on here.
Maybe I am concerned for the people funding the mosque that this guy sounds like someone worse than Bernie Madoff.

To be fair its you not he that's complaining about the distance, so you should be the one to say what you think a decent distance is.

Yep. I have a hard time believing any blue collar NY construction crews will lift a hammer there.

Maybe they should hire some illegals to build it and see how many conservative bloggers and talking heads have brain aneurysms. :p

Sounds like a win-win to me!

That is not the truth.
Some workers have refused to work on it. Others have said they would.
As a steel worker I would do it no problem.
I did some googling and took a look at this guy making the *Hard Hat Pledge* petition on his blog and can see from his site he's pretty out there, and most of the stuff on his site is out right lies.
In a time when the US economy is where its at and the way so many people already view unions, it's almost a disgrace for this guy to be doing this.
For every ignorant union worker refusing to work, there is going to be 3 who will gladly step in.

I think the bigger question is: WTF is with his nose?

R: The Money, from what I know on the subject(not much mind you), others are Paying into it.

Stereotypical Jew / Middle eastern nose on him, thats all. Im guessing he is a Lebanese Muslim though, since he doesnt look dark at all...If it wasnt for the nose he could pass as a Irishman.

Wow you totally missed the point. The point is not who has the burden of proof to set a precise distance. The point is that just because there is no exact distance at which point it becomes tasteless doesn't mean there's not a general distance at which it begins to become tasteless.
