I need some help. The game seems very hard. Whenever I go out of a city, I end up getting killed by enemies. I'm on a mission where I have to escort someone somewhere, and I keep dying. It seems like my character can't fight at all whatsoever, because he hardly hits the target. Why is the game so hard? Am I doing something wrong?

You have to get in pretty close to your enemy to have a better chance at hitting them. I would play a fighting class first before a magic using class.

I haven't played morrowind in months. Great game, but I just don't have the time.

Yep it's so damn big I realized it was good but after 2 hours knew I'd never ever get anywhere since I have other things to do unfortunately so I just stopped. :(

Hit the ~ key to open the console. Type in player->SetHealth 5000

You're good to go.

Really? I noticed that I didn't really have too much trouble when I started playing. I used to be an EverCrack addict. I was able to kick the habit after one summer of gaming though. Anyway, the first time I died in Morrowind I started to hunt for my corpse in order to loot it.

Anyway, I like easy games. I like feeling like a winner. :D

I keep running into these flying dragon things which keep killing me. They are hard to hit because they fly. Anyone have any experience with these?

What level are you? Maybe you shouldn't be going into the area you are in...

Yeah that's probably it. I'm first level (or whatever level you are when you start), and I had a mission to go to Ghostgate. Is that a hard area?

Those are probably cliff racers you keep running into if you're headed towards Ghostgate. The Ghostgate area would be pretty tough for a low level character. I don't want to spoil too much for you or anything, but the area inside Ghostgate is basically the final area of the game. You'll probably want to stick around the starting areas. Doing stuff in Seyda Neen, Pelagiad, and Balmora should get you a couple levels at least. Use your major and minor skills as much as you can, they're the only things that affect your level progress.

I used to be a huge Morrowind freak. I have a FAQ written up about it on my website, and a Morrowind section on my forums. I haven't updated the FAQ or played in months though. The game got ridiculously easy after awhile and it lost its appeal (that and NWN came out).

You're just having a hard time because you're so low level. Believe me, this is the only time in the game where you will have trouble. You just need to go up a few levels. Just avoid all tougher monsters. Just fights rats and the crustacean things and crabs. Use strengh potions and stuff. Don't bother with missions yet.

The key to having money is stealing. You can steal a ton of money at that "something or nother gate". Once you've stolen a bunch of stuff and made lots of money, you can pay to enchant some weapons and then you will kick so much ass it's ridiculous.
