Morpheus 1.3!!! ARGH!!!

Ok, i upgraded from 1.2 to 1.3, and now it doesn't show any mp3 files in 192 bitrate

is it just me, or is this a new feature in the prog?

if anyone still has the setup file for morpheus 1.2, PLEASE PM me!!!

hmm... thanks for the warning.

It's limited to 128kbps.

Registry hack <thanks to acuraman>:



<< Start-Run and type regedit. (if you didn't already know)

Look for a DWORD entry titled LimitBitrate.

You can do a search for it or you can find it under:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Morpheus

It should be the only entry IN morpheus, not under it.

Right click on this and change the value from 1 to 0 and you should now be able to find songs with bitrates well above 128.

Then to change the maximum search number returned try this
Go to \HKEY_CURRENT _USER\Software\Morpheus\Advanced
Look for the DWORD entry MaxSearchResult

I put mine at 300 I returned 215 or so most times with popular artists much better than the default 50. >>

the best i have seen is 128

well, is aw a few 1000+, but those are like 30meg wav files...
