Isnt priority flat rate $3.85? - Me

don't you want confirmation? it's $.45 so it's over $4 and i have to drive there to ship it for you. You expect people to pay for gas?

How much you think you will pay on ebay for shipping? $10?15? please be considerate

write back if you find a better deal
- His response

First off, confirmation is free if you print the label out online (could still buy the postage at the post office). Secondly, I'm sorry, I thought the package was going to ship itself, otherwise I would have taken into consideration that you have to physically take it there. Also, maybe you should have included a gas quote in your price as well. Finally, it seems as though your used to ripping off the morons on ebay with shipping, which is exactly where you belong. - My response

$4 for shipping, plus $2 for packaging plus $1 for gas to drive to the post office plus probably at least $3 for the time it takes him to go to the post office and mail it.

Seems like you're getting a deal to me.

delivery confirmation is free if he gets the postage from www.usps.com

as far as driving to the post office... well, that is the cost of doing business.

I would say that most people on this trading forum don't do that, including myself. Like KarenMarie said, "cost of doing business".

You're being a jackass.

His shipping price is his shipping price. You don't get to argue with it.

God, people like you are what helps to make eBay a sh!tty place sometimes.

It is simple, just don't deal with the person...

No need to create more drama.

Like I said, the cost of doing business is passed onto the customer. You don't think the post office has the cost of gas factored into the $3.85 they charge? If they can do it, why can't the seller?

Don't like his shipping price, then don't buy it! You expect people to conform to your standards all the time? His response still seemed cordail while you want to make an ass of yourself.

I think you are both dickwads.
I sure hope you're not besmirching the hallowed halls of FS/T. Agree or disagree, there's no place for acting like an asshole in trading. That's for here at OT.
You may now resume suckling.

so what...

God, people like you are what helps to make eBay a sh!tty place sometimes.
:p Sorry, didn't mean to be so harsh.. But I hate it when people bitch about shipping because it's more than the actual postage.

In his opinion, the time it takes to deal with your package is worth 4$. If you don't like that price, you're free to shop elsewhere.

If this was eBay, you would be paying 18$ for shipping.. ;) lol

$8 is fair. Have you calcuated the actual cost? Shipping peanuts can be expensive.
