Nags Head, NC is about 3 hours east of Raleigh (thank heavens for that new bypass around Knightdale!!!)

It's above Hilton Head & Wilmington beaches...it's the famous "OBX" place

Is that near Atlantic Beach? My parents live in Gville and the only beach I know east of there is Atlantic

EDIT Yes, thank god they completed 264 straight from Raleigh to Gville. I drive to GVille once or twice a month, and I had to do that trip once when you had to detour thru Farmville or whatever. Jeez; the detour took like 2-2.5 hours GVille-->Raleigh. Straight 264 is 1.5 hours doing the speed limit :Q

To that other guy...OBX is huge. Anyone that's been to the "Outer Banks" knows.

Yep, that road is a Godsend!! It's kinda near Atlantic Beach, yeah :)

remember your digicam and bing us back the results.

and to the other guy, no, I have no clue what this OBX is, I honestly try to avoid the east coast for the most part, the only reason I care about a little of it is that I have a bit of family there
