Morning is a son of a b*tch...

I can't wake up for the life of me. I end up showing up at 11:00am to my 8-5 job.
Anyone got any brilliant ideas short of having someone else wake me up?

Um, I'm sure when you get fired for showing up late you'll start to learn. Or just put your alarm clock on the other side of the room.

You shouldn't have to worry about getting up in the morning if you keep showing up for work three hours late, lazy-ass.

Less blankets, turn up the thermostat. When it's toasty in the room, at least for me, I'm far less likely to lay snuggle in bed.

Responsibility would definitely work.

I suppose I could go to bed earlier but it just never seems to happen.

I even sold my computer last week with not much improvement.

Tried the alarm clock.
Tried the alarm across the room.
Tried leaving the heater on.

what time do you go to sleep every night?

if this job is at all important to you, be responsible and get to bed early. when your body is well rested, it's 100X easier to wake up in the morning.

set a clock radio to static really loud & place it across the room.

that will get you up fast.

I did that for a number of years with a old tube clock radio at very loud volume. It worked.
