Morning Glory Seeds

I read this article on a friend of mine that took a bad combination of perscription drugs and ODed. In it, they talked about another guy that powdered Morning Glory seeds, but in water, and drank. He said that for about 10 hours, he imagined he was suffocating, he hallucinated, deep depression, cold sweats, throwing up, etc.

What is in these seeds that cause these effects and has anyone here ever done anything like this with Morning Glory seeds?
