Just wondering how many people have ever had Mormon missionaries at their door. How long were they there, did you let them in? What did they say. Any other missionaries-at-the-door stories are fine too, but don't vote yes for these.

Personally hate them. If I want your religion, I'll come to you.

A few weeks ago I got two crazy religious nuts on my door step. I told them no thanks and closed the door.

One of my friends spent about 3 hours talking to a mormon missionary. She was very cute (I didn't think the girls went door to door) and they ended up dating for awhile.

I guess I could have them wax my car and after they are done, I'll "accept the book of mormon" and then say goodbye, use the book for firewood and then I just got two things from them! :p

Mormons don't believe in hell.

I just tell them I'm not interested and shut the door.

Not Mormon, but did have some Jehovah Witnesses come to my door. I let them in and let them talk to me briefly. I think they were a little scared that I actually let them in...

I've had all kinds of missionaries at my door (like two caucasian women promoting Chinese christianity with a Chinese bible...weird).

Did you lock the door behind them with the deadbolt and remove the key?

That's always a good idea, because they might come back and try to break in.

Nah these were nice guys. I could tell they were do their "evangelical" work because they had to, not because they wanted to. :p I knew a guy in college that was a JW, he was a nice guy - I have some friends now that are also JW. They have a different view on holidays and scripture but I still consider them as part of the big christian family. Mormons on the other hand, although I like the idea of multiple wives , I don't like the extra biblical revelation they use...

Yeah, when I used to live up near Sacramento, they came by the house quite often.
