Last name.

Only Morgan Freeman can get away with it.

Pick something else.

I'm thinking Morgan Freeman, but it's a pretty ambiguous name like Taylor, Reese, Jordan and Jesse.

Hayden Christensen - Darth Vader
Hayden Panettiere - "The Cheerleader"

Parker Bohn - bowler (your example)
Parker Posey - Actress

Logan Ramsey - Actor (played Spock at some point)
Logan Stanton - MMA Octagon Girl

Logan is historically and numerically a boy's name, but it is becoming a fairly common girl's name also.

I was about to say about logan. Everytime I think of logan, I think of wolverine... heh

Both PLUS.

It's also a pet name for your unit: Morgan The Most Magnificent Organ.

I know both male and female Morgans. It was pretty popular when I was growing up.

I think it is funny that Leslie Howard played Ashley in the movie 'Gone With the Wind.'

I wonder when those names went from masculine to mainly feminine names.

Normally I think of a girl when I first hear that name. Only way to avoid it is to immediately follow it with a "Freeman".

What's your opinion? Trying to get a feel for this name, my wife insists it's a more girly name. The SSA baby name rankings for 2009 have it skewed heavily toward a girl name. Personally, I think boy more when I hear it.
look at it this way: if the child is a boy and he decides to be a "girl" he won't need to change his/her name.

When I hear it, my first thought is girl. It's definitely more popular for girls lately. We have neighbors with a daughter named Morgan and our kids have several Morgan's in their classes and on their soccer teams, all girls.
Seems like it was more popular as a boys name in the 80's and 90's and has become more popular for girls in the last decade.

Both. However, I typically associated names that end in vowels sounds with girls and those without as boys. Then again, I've known plenty of boys and girls with names typically of the opposite sex. I actually knew a family once that the parents did this on purpose for their kids.

Morgan I would normally assume boy and Morgana for girl :) But many girl versions are shortened to buy versions. Like Samantha becoming Sam.

Logan was also Wolverine's call name as well. Don't know if it was his real name though.
