What's your opinion? Trying to get a feel for this name, my wife insists it's a more girly name. The SSA baby name rankings for 2009 have it skewed heavily toward a girl name. Personally, I think boy more when I hear it.

Either. If you tell me about a Morgan, I would imagine that person as a girl. I wouldn't think a guy named Morgan had a girl name though.

Now a boy named Sue, on the other hand...

I know it's both. I'm talking about the initial reaction to the name (should you hear it in conversation).

I don't jump to conclusions so I think of both until I hear otherwise or figure out what the gender is.

Poll fail remains.

Last name of a girl that crawls out of wells on TV and gets the floor all wet.

Girl.

I don't like the name though. For some reason it reminds me of some creepy little girl posessed by demons or something.

It sounds female to me.

Though Morgan le Fay is the only female I can think of off the top of my head. On the other side you have Morgan Freeman of course.. and Morgan from Chuck.

Dude name, although I know girls with it too.

I always thought it was a rather weak name in general.

Sounds like a great name if you've been born with gender mosaic characteristics (I've been watching too much House).

It is a unisex name. I don't know why someone would give their child an ambiguous name though...

How about a man named Jayne?
