You knew the rules, and still let yourself get your ass kicked. Too bad, so sad.

Actually I didn't get my ass kicked. He attacked me and I poked his eyeballs out. Literally. He hit me in the back of the head and I dodged forward and spun around as he was throwing another punch at me. I dodged that, slipped him into a headlock and poked both his eyes out of their sockets. Then dropped him to the ground as he was crying and the cops came rushing at me. I last heard they fixed him with some surgery, but he was never the same afterward and couldn't play football again. All that because I took his seat on the bus that day because my car broke down and was in the shop.

Still it was all caught on camera, I had to go to court to defend myself. I was initially charged with felony assault and was to be expelled from school. I had three teachers and many students testify for me. I ended up with only a 3 day suspension and disturbing the peace charge/fine. All that the school could get to stick. The other kid got expelled and was sent to JV with a felony charge of some sort.

I suspect you're full of shit, but I always did wonder why more people don't get their eyes poked out. In terms of effectiveness, it's 1000x more effective than a solid boot to the testicles.

Nope. I was taking martial arts and defensive fighting classes for years back then. It was my senior year of high school and it was a freshman football player for the school. I've also been in more fights than I can remember growing up. Mostly because I was living in foreign countries or Hawaii with the reverse racism there. Once past middle school I never lost any more fights. Even in middle school I only lost one.

No way I can do now what I did back then though. Too old, too slow, and too many injuries since then. But at 17, lean, strong, working out 6+ hours a day and with a background to fighting I was not someone you fucked with. It's also very easy to poke someone's eyes out or pop their eardrums. Either one will drop someone to the ground and end any fight with them right then and there. So why is it so hard to believe I did that?
