New Asus P4T
want to install two hard disks (Maxtor 40, 60) and
- one DVD
- one CD-RW
- Iomega 250mb ZIP IDE

How to get them on to IDE controllers?

Thought of that and tried it.
Under WinXP-nothing but problems.
Machine won't even boot with controller card inserted.
Of course, having a SCSI card in at the same time didn't make WinXP happy.

Controller card is the only route as far as I see it...

Do you use the zip much??? sell it and get the usb version and that can alleviate some issues...

How about get a firewire card and convert on e of the drives (hdd) in to a external firewire drive...I have seen some kits to do it...
