had a conference call this afternoon with my boss in Chicago.

I had to give up my IBM Tualitin core PII850 laptop that averaged 5hr18minute WU times today. 🙁
An executive found out I had one.

I will be losing a PIII750 laptop this Friday. 🙁
New hire needed a laptop.

I will be losing Hoss, the IBM Netfinity server dual Xeon 700mhz 2mb cache that averaged 5hr17min WU times (each CPU) next Friday. 🙁
Sending to headquarters to be configured for disaster recovery. Once in production, I no longer can run SETI on it.

This totals about 16 WUs a day, half of what my work fleet puts out. 🙁

Just when the MTR starts ramping up too. 🙁

Some days are good, some days are bad. Nothing you can do
but ride it out and whack at more people to get them to fill up the
gap 🙂

Thanks! for all the support, I was bummed last night after losing the 8K race, then this news. But thanks to great teammates, I'm back up to speed this morning! 😀

No can do. I only have permission to run SETI on non-production, non-user machines. Once they get into a person's hands, SETI has to come off. 🙁
