I'm about to sign on for the $39.99 get more plan. 1000 minutes anytime anywhere and unlimited nights and weekends. So anytime anywhere means I can be out of my home town and call somewhere else in the country with no roaming or no long distance charges. I just use my minutes. Now, is my unlimited nights and weekends the same? No long distance no roaming just like the 1000 anytime anywhere?

if im not mistaken, its 1000 anytime and unlimited WEEKENDS only, meaning nights use up your anytime minutes.

You guys are getting hooked up out there. I pay the same amount and I only get 600 minutes a month (from voicestream/T-Mobil). Not like I use all of those anyway...

Actually i believe your correct. Voicestream/T-Mobile only offers unlimited weekends, not nights.

Oh ok, I double checked you are right. Ok so lets get this straight before I dive in. 1000 minutes anytime, anywhere..but I have to be on GSM signal right? What if I was in the yellow part of their coverage map? And if I use my miniutes without going over, then I would never pay any roaming or long distance correct?

Yes. The 1000 minutes are Monday midnight thru thurs 11:59. Then unlimited weekends come in. No roaming or long distance charges either.

With T-Mobile/V-stream you either get service or you dont. No roaming on other networks like some companies. Only in the pink areas (see map) will you get service.

And yes, if you never go over, you will not pay any charges.

You call the number inside the box to activate.

You can call ANYWHERE in the US for free.

Btw, so far, i signed up two days ago, and reception with my Samsung r225m has been GREAT. Most of the time it floats at LEAST around 3 bars, if not at full. I live in Monterey Park, but i drove down to Los Angeles today, and reception was still good.
