More lulz. The US has no ambassadors. Trump fired them all without replacements.

Where is conjecture involved ?
Where I refuse to accept brief opinions as self-evident truths? Where you think a four word reply adequately explains your accusation? As much as I'd like to get along, I can't just blithely agree with someone who won't seriously engage the issue.

Some arguments I won't mince words on, I suppose.

Oh no, we don't have any campaign donors assigned to plush government funded vacations

lol +1 I suppose this is the up side to not having big campaign donors/bundlers - nobody in the way of the actual career people. Maybe he'll promote the actual career diplomats? Then again, that got us Joseph C. Wilson.

Although honestly, my first response was "Meh. Trump's a businessman and he's not going to pay people to speak on his behalf until he figures out what he wants to say."

Probably not.

One of my relatives was an assistant to an Ambassador to India, not that it is relevant other than I have heard a few stories in the past.
I lived next door (country next door, like a half mile but nobody between us) to a former ambassador (to Canada IIRC.) It had never even occurred to me that we had (or needed) ambassadors to Canada.

Less interesting I think, since Bernie wouldn't be interested in being baited into character-battles. And it would have been a ridiculous blow-out given Trump would have literally no chance of taking the Democratic firewall states against Bernie.
I dunno. The people who abandoned the Democrats seemed to want manufacturing jobs retained and returned, not liberal big government programs to make up for them.

Me neither. Have a nice weekend!
It's nice when something works out for everyone concerned.

Who told us the truth at the time. You do realize that the whole Niger uranium claim was post-truth, I hope.

It's not like he owns America, is it?

A lot of them yearn for the Rapture, too. Both seem equally as likely.

Or, you know, tell me again which Trump branded products are made in America.

I personally know two FSOs who used to be ambassadors. Cracks me up because both of them saw Trump favorably - until now.

Now one refuses to speak about anything political. The other, already a little despondent from the DeVos appointment, is sheepishly admitting Trump's critics may be right.

Ha! I love it.

From the article;

"As many as 80 ambassadors for countries, agencies and issues - such as the ambassador for global women's issues - have been discarded at once."

This alone is probably grounds for impeachment.

Sounds like a swamp draining to me...

I heard she pushed him down the stairs and pissed on him to. It must be true.

That's as close to the truth as any claim of Bernie being cheated.

It's all duh-version from the topic at hand, anyway, a sort of universal escape hatch from reality.

Presidents usually ask ambassadors to leave, but there are usually people ready to move into positions immediately. Obama did move quickly but not without people to take over. That's the difference here.

Oh, lulz were found in the comments.
I noticed many were selected during Obama's first week after taking office. I'm expecting much of the same this upcoming week.

I hope so but there's no indication of who the replacements might be. Guess I'm going to find out. If Trump exercises due diligence then my objections on this issue will be moot. I can't hold one guy to a different standard than the other.
