More incompotence by another Trump administration cabinet member. Take a bow Ben Carson

This guy has been on the job for almost 2 1/2 years and he hasn't bothered to learn the basics for someone in his position. More accurately he didn't seem to care. budget. To add insult to injury Trump is proposing a 60% cut to HUD's budget. This is the same Ben Carson who spend $33,000 for a dining table and a $9,000 dishwasher for his office.

Take a look at his performance from yesterdays hearing.

Didn't watch the video...hate watching stupid. But did this include Carson's misunderstanding of a question about REO's when asked about them by responding "Oreos?" He didn't know there were such things as REO's, only Oreo cookies.

What's hilarious is that the Housing Secretary didn't know what an REO is when he was asked.

Carson: "An Oreo...."

You can't understate how fucking stupid these morons are. Extra points for him mentioning Oreo...lol!

If he was the amazeballs Brain Surgeon people touted him as: Dude, you were great then. You are not great now. Should have stayed a Surgeon.

This shows how far gone the Democrats are. They quizzed him about acronyms, some that (from what I've read) are not common and haven't been in decades. "REO" was the example cited. I work in IT, I manage multiple infrastructure towers, but I don't know every acronym my analysts and engineers use. Ben Carson is much higher up the ladder than I am. This seems like cheerleading over nothing.

A representative had to explain how his department works to him. And even if some of the acronyms aren't common (that doesn't mean he shouldn't know them in his job), some of them are -- he should at least know those. I'd say "please don't be an apologist for incompetence," but then you excuse Trump at every turn, so I know it's too late for that.

Higher up the ladder? Well he is and that's the problem. The clip showed a question that I learned the answer when looking it up. I would not have answered with "it's fine", even if I'm demonstrably more intelligent than Carson.

If someone asked you what is a CPU and you can't answer, quit your job.

Maybe Ben should take a hint

BTW - He couldn't answer the current nationwide backlog of people waiting for section 8 housing. I don't expect an exact number but he said a few hundred thousand when the answer was a few million.

Remember when old Ben didn’t want to take the job because he thought he would be incompetent? Turns out he was right, haha.

The real question is why Trump was so impossibly stupid as to offer him the job to begin with. Maybe nobody else would associate with Trump so he had no choice.

Shens on you working in IT.

I bet a lot of people couldn't answer that without looking it up. I'd like for you to go ask random managers in your IT department, I bet you'll be surprised. I work with a lot of management level people in IT daily, I can guarantee you we have directors that couldn't tell you what "CPU" stand for. I'm not disagreeing in that maybe they should be able to answer that, but that doesn't necessarily make someone a bad manager because they don't know an acronym.

20+ years now of IT experience. I started when I was pretty young. Started in Helpdesk, moved to desktop support where I stayed a long time, now a low level manager for multiple infrastructure support spaces. Do you guys ever tire of being dead wrong?

I knew what a REO was and my job has nothing to do with real estate or investment.

To be fair Carson was the original Trump incompetent cabinet member. He was always just the token black man so Trump can claim not to be racist. The only reason he is still in the job is because Trump does not care one bit if HUD works or not. In fact if Trump has ever even thought about HUD at all it is probably to wish to see it fail so to justify cutting it's budget or eliminating it altogether.

If the amount had been $0 he would have just found a different reason to celebrate it.

With slow it’s never about facts or logic it’s about feelings. He’s emotionally attached to Trump so he justifies things however he needs to.

Pretty ironic coming form the guy that wants terrorists, rapists, and murderers to vote because Bernie told him so.

ask him what NIC stands for and if he can't answer that then he's just as competent as trump.
