That emotions rule here more than logic, few have understanding of economics, which are driving this election more than anything else,... but you get those that regurgitate one media source or article source without understanding and get very emotional and blast one side or another. Same with the Iraq war. Same with the 9-11 blame game, Katrina blame game, the "homeowner" issue, illegal immigrant issues,...

Is it any wonder we have problems in washington when we react with emotion or are swayed with emotion? Is it any wonder that we elect officials with those emotions, while not utilizing logic and true facts to see, that we have further issues?

I cannot forsee the United States ever being of the people, with a responsible hardworking, resourceful, undeterable society ever again with this attitude we have now. Unfortunately we have had our best times and are now in decline because of the American people, nothing else.

Gee, insult the entire forum because you think you know better.

I think solving the issue would be to get more comities of experts to look at it.

Though, ironically enough, you are nothing more than an elitist spouting off his philosophical ideas about the ideas and elitism that is spouted off in this forum.

In other words, you are what you despise.

Politics has become more of a source of entertainment than something to be taken seriously at this point. :p

The only time I get downright serious about politics is when I'm in a polling booth.

Aside from that, it's great fun and fascinating to read other people's opinions in reference to politics. You can't buy the kind of entertainment you can get here.
