The black conservative man exercising his right to carry as a form of protest against Obama was no threat unless you find black conservative men who believe in the 2nd amendment to be a threat in itself.
Why are attempting to inject race here when no else has? What's your agenda?

The opposition is the one that injects race frequently calling 2nd amendment supporters and people that carry "redneck, white trash, hick, etc". This shows race has, yet again, nothing to do with anything.
Injecting race into any argument is lame and indicates a fundamental weakness that is trying to be covered up. On the other hand, I didn't know that rednecks, white trash and hicks are separate races. That explains a lot.

They are still racial slurs used by those that preach tolerance.

How are they racial slurs when they're used primarily by white people?

Huffington Post :rolls eyes:. It a publicity stunt...so what? I'd like to see a video of the interview where teh guy allegedly says...

He also explains that he is "absolutely totally against health care... health care in this way, in this manner, stealing it from people. I don't think that's appropriate."

Sounds like someone inserted, or left something out, or the guy is antoher that confuses healthcare with healtcare insurance.

Ah, so the N-bomb isnt a slur because it is used primarily in rap music and by black comedians.

No, they're just slurs. And, usually, richly deserved for things not necessarily associated with weapons.

Correct. Whatever race you are, you are free to use any racial epitaph relating to your race and its fine.

Does this invalidate his position that the police in his home state are stifling his right to bear arms when they do not understand the laws? Did this publicity stunt bring more awareness to the fact that this is legal, and that carrying guns in public did not harm anyone?

No and it doesn't invalidate his right to not wear deodorant either.

That depends on who's being buried. Some races frown on epithets in their epitaphs.

nobody was "wielding" a weapon, good lord, pull your head out of your ass man. had somebody been "wielding" a weapon they have would have dealt w/ accordingly. there were so many plain clothed police in the crowd, nothing was going to happen had he "wielded" his weapon nor was anything going to happen to him from people who didn't agree w/ his choice to bring his firearm to the rally/protest.

as far as the pres not stopping by for a meet and greet, his route was already chosen at least weeks in advance and this area was not on it. everything is planned w/ a presidential visit.

I have less of a problem with this than "free speech zone" cages during the bush administration. If there's no law against it, well, it probably isn't the best sense but who cares.

This is most reassuring. You sound like a knowledgeable poster. You seem to know a lot about presidential security details.
