but the memory only runs at 1:1 so there is little room for an overclock! This really turns me off because I'm not interested in underclocking my PC3200

Are you sure that is really true? What are your sources? I've heard that from people in other forums, but until reviews are out, I wouldn't hold my breath on anything.

I am admittedly new to overclocking, but wouldn't the stability trade off be worth it? Not to mention the wear and tear on system componets. I am not asking this to be snide, just interested in the tradeoff you mentioned and the pros/cons thereof.
