I dont agree with everything in the Democratic party, but I do find myself more aligned with them than Republicans. If that makes me "two tounged" so be it. I cant help it that I dont fall perfectly in line with the party line.

To be clear, I support gun ownership because its a constitutional right. I have no interest in a gun myself, and have seen enough data to make me believe that it improves my safety. I will likely buy a rifle or two in the future, as I think I may want to get into hunting. Because I support gun ownership doesnt mean that it makes things safer or more secure. Its just that it is a freedom and I would hate to see it taken away. You know, the old line about giving up freedom for security and recieving neither.

Wow, I must say I'm impressed- I immediately came into this thread, jumped to conclusions given the (actively, not majority) typical bleeding heart liberal mindset of ATOT, and posted, "Harvard book, Harvard shmook (Massachusetts- another breeding ground for liberals, no surprise)- the Constitution gives us the right to bear arms". Kudos on the great article! I sent it to my Dad, and stand corrected on my expectancies. Glad to see that conservatism can come out of Cambridge. :)
