Have 1600 rmp sycthe in the front and back of my tsnami case. front gets 1607 rpm, back gets 1487 rpm. both are 3pin to mobo, and before i had them both 3 pin and 4 pin. pressure difference? I have one 80mm side fan.

Should not be major. Your PSU will handle all the other exhaust air so don't worry about it.

rpms within 10% - not bad for fans. Which has the more restrictive grill in front or behind it?
I see the rear has a very restrictive grill - cut it out and protect your fan with a wire finger guard instead - much less restrictive. You have to measure fans in free air to compare speeds.

Damn, the Tsunamis are aluminum Antecs... Just like the 3000-B inside. Looks like everyone is picking up on that design. And for good reason - an excellent basic design.

PS: An experiment: swap fans and see what happens to the rpms to prove my "restrictive grill" hypothesis.

Buying just a fan grill can be expensive because of "minimum shipping charge" - a 99 cent item becomes $6.99. jab-tech.com and svc.com have the wire fan grills and will ship small orders by first class mail uninsured to save on shipping - just ask them.

I switched the fans. Back and front now run about the same, but not the same speed everytime I use the computer. Both 3pin to the mobo now. What is changing the speed after each reboot, both fans change about 30-40 rpms + or - each time.
