More disappointing NFL season/coach

Arguably two of the most talented teams in the NFL, who are playing as if they lack any heart/energy, and who have head coaches who don't seem to be able to fire up their team at all..

Who's been the bigger disappointment?

Not disappointing to me, lol.

I'm unhappy with the Vikings, though. Childress sucks. He's at least 50% of the reason we're unable to get anywhere despite having playoff-grade players in many positions.

Wade is too weak to manage the talent on his team.

Norv has always been a failure.

not when he was offensive coordinator for the 49ers but i cant complain now cuz we have mike martz

The good news is that it will be easier to get season tickets, the fairweather fans will ditch their seats at the end of the season.

Agreed.

Fortunately we are only one game back in the North, so still in the thick of it.

yea but we were so spoiled the last few years, they were a really fun team to watch because depending on what week it was the offense or the defense could dominate. Now we're stuck with two (instead of three) teams rebuilding, I assume a quarterback hunt is on the horizon even if Hasselbeck makes it through next year

edit: oh and my cougars lost 69-0 this week, and even if you're a jackass huskies fan you can't be happy either. not a good time for sports in the northwest

i think norv turner has more than proven that he is not a head coach. hell of a offensive coordinator but not a head coach

Yeah, they haven't really been "disappointing" me lately. I hate that team.

It's hard for me to vote in a pole about worse head coaches when one of the options isn't Childress of the Vikings, however.

I was thinking about this on the bus ride in today, "terrible time to be a sportsfan in WA".... 🙁

Turner had a golden team dropped in his lap, and he dropped it on the floor

That's true, and that's what makes the Chargers so disappointing.

I mean, you can chalk up other failures to injuries or inexperienced/bad players, but when you have a good team with experience and no major injuries, and they still lose, it's impossible not to blame the coach.

That's what makes the Vikings so frustrating for me. We have the talent, and our stars are going strong, not injured, but we still can't put wins together, and the blame falls squarely on the coaching. Childress made some truly atrocious special teams calls yesterday.

It's not about the worst, but the worse 🙂

As if losing the Sonics wasn't bad enough. Yeah, there's plenty to gripe about in Seattle.

I'm a jackass huskie fan and will admit, part of me liked watching the couges get raped by USC....goes back to when I was a student @ UW- rivalry and all that.

But it's been a tough year to watch the seahawks, lose the sonics, and start the Mariners season w/ such high hopes to watch that crash and burn...
