true true. they will not pricematch on clearance.
just watch it. it will fall--maybe--massagers still same price! i want the one with heat so baddd!
thanks for the dvd info, but i forgot to ask--how hazardous is the enabling region-free on the 5109? i don't wanna tear it up... tia you and carmann (for this target thread) both
oh, i forgot--the 4400 series imac colored norelcos are going for $12.04
edit: either of you guys wants to know where i got the 5109, pm me

Yeah, I figured that they wouldn't directly price match a clearance item(apparently that's a HUGE no-no for them). But I was wondering if the .00 price was only for seasonal merchandise, that maybe I could help them understand that a Vacuum Cleaner is not "seasonal" and they could check their national database or something.

Alas, I'm just going to forget about it. I've been spending way too much time in Target(s) lately.

heh heh

In terms of disabling Region-Coding on those DVD Players, I am not aware that it is possible. 🙁 Toshiba is very hard (I believe you have to have it done professionally) and on the Philips, I think you can, but it is limited to like 5 or 10 changes of the Region before it becomes permanent.

I'd still recommend the Apex AD-703. It is a 3-disc Changer, has built-in Dolby Digital Decoder, plays mp3's and you can make it Region Free by downloading a patch from the internet, burning the file to CDR/CDRW, then run it in your machine. This model is $179 at Circuit City right now. 🙂

Here's something you can try. I bought the sony 13" tv at one target for $140. When I got to another target, I saw it for $100. So I brought the price tag to the customer service, and she adjusted the price for me. Granted, it only works if you have a nice csr and you bought it the same day.

Anyone know the SKU for the 22.99 Dirt Devil Vacuum? Went to Target last night and couldn't find anything. Couple red vacuums there by Dirt Devil...

I got in on the $22 dirt devil (pretty nice vac) a very high quality down king size comforter for $50 (usually $200). Went to another target nearby and the comforter was still only 50% off to $99 so I was psyched. Picked the lower model battery backup as well for $12 change. Some good deals out there but you have to jump on them and hopefully have a target that doesn't have a hell of a lot of traffic going through it.

dznuts007, just take the vac's to the scanner and scan them. That's the easiest way to find the price.

Fritzo: only certain models will play them. I have a Toshiba SD-2109 (I think that is the model #) and it will not read CDRs. It wil read commercially-produced VCDs, however.

Just got a fantom at the san leandro, CA Target.
There's one more left. On a shelf across from the vacuum bags. Some people thought they were sold out since they couldn't find it under the display vacuums. There were many upc labels on the box, checkout lady scanned all of them cuz she didn't believe it was 73 bucks. But it kept on ringing the price.

There are some 3 sony MDR-CD180 headphones for 9.94. BB has it for 19.99. go pricescan them since there is no indication of their price.

I got a couple Lexar digital film readers (reads CF, smartmedia, and PC cards) for $15 at my Target. Willing to do a trade for some equivalent cost deal if someone is looking. This reader is USB.

Went back to Target again (Stockton...Northern California if you guys aren't familiar) and tried to do price scans on all the Red devil vacuums for 22.99. Didn't find none...I guess that clearance isn't in this area or so. Anyone know the SKU?

Dirt Devil Swivel Glide Model 086301 - UPC 46034 88568

How much are they scanning at your Target? Your store might just take longer to mark down so keep an eye on them.

got a 19"phillips mag tv for 79.99 but when I got it home the damn thing was humming so iI took it back, must have been the display model that they leave on all the time. 13" all gone , boo hoo

I went crazy the other day and drove to a Target in a "not so nice" neighborhood and found a Michael Graves Flatware set for $18.74 (originally $79.99). I already trashed the receipt so I no longer have the SKU (sorry). It's a very nice set though. 🙂

I also saw a 20" Sony TV on display. It looked to be a model from 3 years ago. Of course, I didn't check the price, but being that it was so old it probably wasn't even in their system anymore.

I had never seen a Target with so many security cameras!

Location: East LA (Whitter).

I saw a HP XE742 Computer for around $640ish (Celery 667, 64MB Memory, CDRW, 40GB HD, 15" Monitor, etc)
and also a HP Scanjet 3300c for $67 (migh be floor model, no box, could qualify for additional 30% off)

My Target has the Fantom and Dirt Devil vac but they scan at over 200 each. I wonder whats up with that.

Atrac, you should have just gone to the Los Altos Target, they still have the white set sitting on their shelf.

If someone is still looking for the Sandisk, the Target on Downey & South still has 1 left. It's under the counter where the digital cameras are. You can't see it so you'll have to tell someone to get it out of there.

Can someone tell me the difference between the Sandisk that they sell at Target and the ones that are sold at other stores? I bought one from Bestbuy last year and it was sort of a triangle shape, the ones at Target look like a bubble. The only difference I noted, beside the shape, was the one from Bestbuy says it's Win98 & Win2k compatable whereas the one from Target just says Win95 & Win98.

I wen to target and none of the listed items were on sale. I even had a guy scan the vcr in the reg and it was full price. I asked about the sale and they said they just got them why would they be on sale so soon

Oh well needed a new one anyway:|
