I'm glad people like you will never have enough power to implement your disastrous plan. Consumption taxes hurt everyone except the wealthy. Are you wealthy? If you are, fuck you for trying to fuck everyone else for your own gain. If you aren't, fuck you for being a puppet for the wealthy.

I guess Europe is fucked as that is exactly what they do. Look at the countries that have VAT taxes, biggest welfare states out there. Why don't you try to back this BS up with some facts and numbers?? A VAT with import duties would replace the income tax completely. Yes, we would pay more for iPhones from China but industry could return tothe UD.

Now, when it comes to wealth, yes I'm wealthy. I have a nice house, a smart phone, big TV, and air conditioning. I appreciate it and don't waste my time hating the people who have more.

Besides that, what do you propose? You want to keep the draconian IRS with power to take anything we own with little to no recourse? The average person can't afford the legal representation to fight them. I guess you prefer being subjects to an out of control government that can spend as much of our income as they deem necessary?

What do you think the fee for not having Obama care is? Looks like a way to take that tax return from anyone who cannot afford insure to me. So who's the puppet to the wealthy?

I grew up listening to classic rock, and I’ll tell you sort of an odd story: My music taste changed on 9/11. And it’s very strange. I actually intellectually find this very curious. But on 9/11, I didn’t like how rock music responded. And country music collectively, the way they responded, it resonated with me. And I have to say, it just is a gut-level. I had an emotional reaction that says, these are my people. So ever since 2001, I listen to country music. But I’m an odd country music fan, because I didn’t listen to it prior to 2001.

If you haven't listened to it prior to 2001, you have no idea what Country Music truly is/was.
