yeah, i don't think he was an exceptional bassist, but that song was just writing very well with a lot of heart imo.

Either way...Les is a God as well as Cliff Burton. He's the epitome of early style Metallica...Loved every bit of the early records and HATE the black album and beyond.

Agreed. I'm a huge Myung fan, but nothing sticks out at me besides his hair.


Stefan Lessard from Dave Matthews Band is another one of those underrated bassists, because he very rarely solos. Amazing pocket player though.
