Speaking for third shifters, it a shit ton easier for us to use Craigs List and amazon than wake up in time to go to a store that's open from noon till nine when I sleep from noon until 8 most days

You would think your replies would be more straight forward.

WTF would buy a PC for $150 today without an OS when for $250-300 you can get a new one.

Heck for $500 you can get one with everything including a nice 19" WS LCD

Most PC's came with OEM windows loaded so it's not a stretch to assume you'd keep that on the resale.

Yup. When I worked thirds my shift was 8pm to 6am... I would have to "stay up late" to go to any stores because they don't open until 10am... and no one wants you at their house to test stuff at 7am. I went to bed and woke up enough enough time to get ready for work at 7pm.

Except that I am not selling Dell's or Gateway's. These are DIY computers. Also, though the listing does not specifically exclude Windows, it also does not mention it.

Where can you get a new computer with Windows for $300 out the door or with a 19" LCD for $500 out the door? Links please.

Interesting. That shows how long it has been since I bought a Dell.

Where's the $300 one?

We got a Dell Vostro with a 19" widescreen LCD for $349 a couple of months ago.
