I think the people who most of us would include in a generalized sense as obsessed with these sites are people with insecurity issues that need attention so they tell everyone what they are doing every minute of the day...like AIM away message obsessors. Its also too easy of a way for your ex-gfs to keep tabs on you and stalk you...its scary.
