That is a toaster oven. All toaster ovens are also convection ovens

yes i know

what i am saying is that looks like the cheapo 80s microwave that my family used to use in the camper

the one i used was about the size of a cabinent microwave and was of a higher quality of construction than that other one

more for cooking other meals than toast which i never realized that "toaster ovens" were used for

the only problem there ever was was if the pizza would fit in the toaster oven or not

The Breville BOV800XL is the best toaster oven. It even beats out a lot regular full size convection ovens.

I'm more of a Tater Tot person. The remarkable consistency is a relief in such a chaotic world.

I do those too, Trader Joe's style.

Was looking at that one - bloomy's was charging $330 for it!

The main reason I use a toaster over is its much quicker for small stuff. Like who would use a regular over to toast a bagel? Also mine has programs to change the top and bottom element ratios depending on what you're cooking.

I have a toaster for that.

Anyone with a BOV800XL know if it fits a regular-size Tombstone (the ones that are like 19-23oz depending on toppings, not any midget variation)?

Don't know the diameter and can't measure since I have none

You're looking at a difference of probably a few pennies at most.

I don't know why people spend money on useless appliances like toaster ovens quite frankly. You would never recoup the cost for even the cheapest of toaster ovens and they just take up space in your kitchen.

They heat up much faster.

I love my toaster oven. I could easily live without a microwave, but when my toaster oven goes up, it'll be quickly replaced.

The Panasonic FlashXpress is the best toaster oven I've ever used for crispy stuff like fries. I've used a few much more expensive units too. The FlashXpress is around $85-$100.

I think the issue I have with toaster ovens is that we are a family of 3 so we are always cooking larger meals (you could never do that in a toaster oven).

Therefore, toaster oven=useless appliance.

Yea, I can understand that. It's just me and my daughter, so it's rare I need anything bigger than a toaster oven. I also never cook large meals. I want the food gone after dinner, so everything is made in small quantities.

I don't mind having leftovers to take for lunch the next day.

I got one of these:

Dispatcher

You would be amazed at how fast that little top oven heats up. Well insulated - keeps the heat in and perfect for small dishes.

I love my toaster oven as well. Heats up fast, and it has a removable catch pan that I cover in foil to make cleanup even easier. It doesn't heat up the kitchen like the full size oven either which saves on cooling costs.

i have an electric oven and a toaster oven. only time i use the regular oven is when whatever i'm cooking is too big to fit in the toaster oven, which is rare.

the toaster oven heats up much faster and cooks really well.

I live by myself too, so not like i'm cooking for a family.
