An integrated HD3300, playing Crysis maxed out??? At what resolution, 320x240???

A "real gaming rig", with integrated graphics instead of discrete? I guess they'll say anything to sell to n00bs.

Yeah, like P4 rigs labeled as "gaming" rigs, rigs with integrated graphics, etc. It makes those of us selling REAL gaming rigs look bad.

Well P4 rigs used to be gaming rigs at one point 😛

4 years ago I was sitting with a s478 P4 2.8HT(C), 1Gb PC2700 and a radeon 9550 64mb.

Jesus. PCs we have now are unbelievably faster.

True, but my P4 gaming rig had a GeForce 6800GT in it.

my P4 gaming rig was sold in 2005, and it died 2 months ago on the guy i sold it to. he's so broke that he got left without a computer since his mom started charging him rent and he cant find a job LOL

Hanging on to the idea the p4 wasn't a good gaming cpu is a matter perspective. Comparred to AMD64 they were slower. But they still worked just fine . Fact is take an old P4c with HT and play a game with more than 1 thread. I bet AMD 64 doesn't walk all over it. Also Intel cpus today are even faster than AMD was over Intel P4 .

You have to go back intime. ReMEMBER! All sites at that time tested at low res. If that was done today Intel spanks AMD worse today than AMD 64 every did P4c At low res FACT!

The Pentium 4 was a very weak processor for gaming, my Pentium M at 2.70GHz was so much faster than the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.40GHz that I replaced. The difference at that time was mostly of CPU bound resolutions, today the i7 is barely faster than Phenom in gaming, only in some situations like in Far Cry 2 the Core i7 is considerably faster and yet, both runs over 60fps which will not make a difference, and the funny thing is that sometimes the Phenom can be really close to the i7 975 for some enigmatic reason.

Not disagreeing . just saying if the reviewers tested today the way they did back than that Intel would show a bigger gap than AMD 64 did over p4c I don't care about Later intel p4s they were pure junk . But AMD 64 never at the same moment in time ran over a P4C . I had a Dothan gaming rig . Ya they were faster.

The thing is this . If you would go back and read my threADS FROM THaN . I WAS AGAINST low res testing . It was AMD boys who wanted the LOW res testing than . The guys here fought me tooth and nail on the subject . Its easy to prove ya just have to know what name I used than to find threads. I even talked about My Dothan and how it kicked AMD ass in gaming all were in DE- NILE . But after time it has proven threw time De-Nile is a river in eygpt. Those who were In DE-Nile were up a river without a paddle.

From my experiance with Dothan I Felt I knew what Intel 65 was going to be like . I was spot on the money . All were in DENILE ALL . BUT me! The threads are here. Plus at that time my brother in law worked for ATI-After AMD bought ATI he moved on to Intel . Best move ever for me . LOL.

I saw a week a go, a guy in a local listing selling a used HD 3650 512MB PCI-E stating that it was Limited Edition and overclocked, and he was asking $225 or better offer, and I wrote him telling him that if it was a joke, because with such amount of money, I could buy a HD 4890 which can split in two the HD 3650, and then he started to insult me, so I reported the link to the mods along with the evidence that the card was much cheaper in newegg, and they removed the listing loll

I have no idea, I was talking about a local listing service here called clasificados online. I don't trust on neither of them.

There's no Mod's per say on CL, but people can flag ads and then the people that run the site will remove the ad if it gets flagged enough
