Do you have any idea how the Pentagon is constructed? It's a little more solid than the glass WTC.

then the FBI should have no reason not to release the confiscated survielance tapes taken from the surrounding area that recorded the whole thing.

They released a few videos a long while ago. I remember seeing it on the news. A big fscking plane hitting the pentagon.

And now here comes the "OMFG NOOESSS they doctored the video OMFG!!!!!!"

There's already more than enough evidence to prove that it was a 757... why would they need to release them?

Unless you think snopes.com is just a government funded front to debunk the little mysteries so they can gain credibility for their cover-ups...

well that would be pretty genius as everyone here seems to take that website as the absolute end all for any debatable theories.

if people still question it....and there are many conflicting eye witness accounts i'd say there is good reason to clear it up once and for all.....what harm could it do.....i mean they replayed the plane going into the wtc a bout a gazillion times so why not this one.

They present more sensible logic and evidence than the conspiracy theory websites which everybody seems to instantly believe. Why wouldn't Snopes be considered more reliable?

Oh, I forgot, Bush bought them out.

Bush's entire plan was to kill as many Americans as possible so he could launch an illegal war against Iraq in a feigned attempt to oust Saddam, when his real intent was to steal Iraqi oil and become rich. To make it look legit, he sent thousands of american soldier to Afghanistan to "look" for Osama, when all they really do is play football in the desert. There's my theory...

Again, why not release one of the numerous videos that caught the jet in action? We have tons of footage of the planes hitting the WTC.

these theories can only continue to be perpetuated because they refuse to release information and videos. If there is nothing to hide then dont!

I don't know, maybe there's a good reason, but I don't know.

Of course, because of this, people assume it is a conspiracy, despite the mounds of other evidence and eyewitness accounts which already tell us exactly what happened.

I have a feeling even if they released the videos people would find a way to discredit them, so what's the point? Maybe they don't show us anything more significant than is already known.

what is the purpose of the fbi and cia ? they filter the information that we are allowed to see in order to bend our perceptions on reality in some direction that advances their agenda. If this was not the case we would really have an open book policy on things of this nature. Its clear by the sheer volume of evidence that is not ever released that something has to be hidden. Those photos, documents and videos cannot all be blank. They contain information. Information that as americans we have the right to see. Until they make these records available...there will always be reason to question the government. I can understand there are some 'projects' that need to be kept under wraps for saftey reasons....but stuff like this....its already done and over with..we've already started a war because of it.......shows us the information/records you have....

just to expand on the last post....why is it that citizens are expected to give up there privacy so the government can keep us safe by keeping a closer eye on us.....many support this saying that well If i have nothing to hide then why should i care if they monitor this or that....

well I challenge the government to take this same attitude....if you got nothing to hide let us see all the documents and evidence that is currently unavailble to the public eye. ....i mean you've done nothing wrong so there certainly cant be anything to worry about ....right?

Nobody has tried to discredit the WTC videos, and I doubt footage of a airliner crashing into the Pentagon would be discredited either. Even if they don't want to release the entire video, screencaps would be valid too.

But we have nothing so far.

Some things to consider.

The pentagon is a fortress used by the miliarty, the section that was hit was JUST upgraded to make it TOUGHER. It's not glass a building meant for public use.

The pentagon is a government building that's still standing. It's still a viable target, where the WTC is not. The video that's not been released may not have been for reasons of secrecy around the pentagon.

The gov't often classifies useless information, this is apparent when older secret records are sent to the public.

Large conspiracies generally will not work because the larger the conspiracy, the more people that are involved. The more people involved, the less likely it is to keep a secret. Not everyone involved is going to be personaly interested in keeping the secret.

What's more likely, the classification of irrelevant information or a conspiracy?

They've already tried to discredit the vidcaps originally released. Conspiracy theorists will not change their minds, nomatter what is released. Like I said, there is already an overwhelming amount of evidence that points to exactly what happens, but they choose to ignore it.

is it something worth taking a gamble on and give them the benefit of the doubt? I'm pretty sure the integrity of this country is important enough to know 110% positive. Large scale consiracies dont work? that u cant proove or disprove hence why it would be a conspiracy.

the pentagon is still a target yes....but what would the videos show that cant be seen right now? The videos were taken from privately owned buildings....taht are still likely to be recording the same area right now so really it would not be exposing any new data about the building than what can already be observed.

that gets me thinking.....was it just a coincidence that that particular wing had just been upgraded or was it in preparation for.....hmmm

i haven't been 'overwhelmed' by any of the evidence regarding the pentagon either way....through snopes or otherwise. there wasnt much availble to be 'overwhelmed' by. The only thing that is 'overwhelming' is the fact that multiple 'eye witnesses' and 'experts' can't agree on what happened.

If you want to live in denial, just go back to playing Doom3 while munching your cheetos in your parent's basement.

It truly is comical (to a sad point though), that people truly want to believe these conspiracies. I'm not saying don't be open minded, but if you believe this garbage I got 2 tickets to sell you to an Elvis Concert right now!!
