I'm working the 3-8 shift, and I have a coupon sitting on my desk that's "GOOD FOR ONE WRAP AND 12OZ DRINK OR COFFEE - FREE!" - I just have to walk all the way to the opposite end of campus to get it. The catch? It's only good from 4-6 tonight... Thoughts? Comments?

Update: Coworker returned from raiding the deal. They got the last one up there.
Update 2: I can't eat my coworker's food, because he just walked off with it. Bastard.

Well, my cohorts just got back from raiding the deal - they got the last damned stuff they have. Apparently this promotion was a little more popular than expected.

Fsck.

Moral dilemma changed. Should I just eat my coworker's food? He didn't pay for it, and it's sitting right here.

I would have said take his food and hide it in your desk, wait until he's 'WTF' or leaves, then munch down. Or take it with you at the end of the shift.

Ha ha, obviously not your night. You have no choice but to begin plotting the overly elaborate downfall of both the eatery and the coworker.

Amen that. Unfortunately, the coworker does not go to the basement, which would be the easiest place to take him out, and the eatery is on it's last legs anyway (because they're a coffee shop and college kids AREN'T going to walk all the way across campus to get a cup of coffee)
