Moonbeam is alive and well... He and I play WoW and usually every day as we have for over seven years...!

He was given a three day 'ban' probably on that date 11/24/2011... as the related thread indicated... His comment resulted in a ban.
I can speak for myself but not for him... I think he will be back when he resolves in his mind the cause and effect of his comment.

It has been said that the truth stated in context is not often going to be seen as truth or in context... But for him all that matters is truth.
Moonster is Moonster and will ever be so...

Well, tell him that Shira wants him back. I miss his wit and his wisdom.

I miss Moonie!

Your statement misses the entire context. Go back through the record, and learn.

Moonbeam wasn't that way for years and years and years of posting. Then, he entered P&N, and for quite some time, as in a couple of years, he still wasn't.

But he began to be ruthlessly and personally attacked and derided, crudely and repeatedly, by a core group of posters whom I feel couldn't carry his philosophical or moral jock.

This eventually coarsened his approach. The old P&N coarsened everyone. So Moonie began to become more "provocative" in his approach at times.

Moonbeam was and is one of the finer and most distinctive posters ever to grace these forums.

I absolutely agree with this.

He is a great person and fantastic intellectual who ultimately was only here helping others develop themselves.

It's incredibly unfortunate that he was essentially 'run off' by a few of our select trollposters.

It's disappointing that we lose these great members who provide so much to the forum at the expense of only a few 3-4 people who are not worth anyone's time. I wish we could have public lynching I mean banning sessions to get rid of them.

So are you one the rebel team and he on the empire or vice versa.

Being you two had similar but opposite names and postings, I thought you were the same poster playing parts.

I don't favor banning anyone unless they really go beyond the pale... although twisting a person's words with selective quoting does come close... I've had it done to me recently and I don't appreciate it at all.

Think about it every really memorable story of conflict has a compelling villain. Without posters who disagree with each other then these forums would get boring.

Very interesting story as why he left. I wonder if the new forum rules have him uneasy as well.

I have always wanted to meet him in real life and have a beer or two with him to pick his brain. I think he lives in SF.

Moonbeam is/was a "he"? o_O

In keeping with her or his anonymity (if that is how it's spelled :+) ) I'd not read too much into the 'his/her'.

I first started reading Moonster long before I joined AT and know him ():) or known her for quite some time... He is vapor! The shots fired at her seemingly reflect and that is what is intended...

Never is there a really hostile encounter IF one looks at the context and reality... but as he'd say... they are blind and have always been so... It is not easy to define the color orange to one who has been blind since birth... The blind are handicapped and the mentally blind even more so...

When folks encounter Moombeam the first best thing to do is wonder what he may see that these folks do not... He was blind but now he sees!!!

I will and will convey the gist of all the posts herein. He often spoke of your intellect and she does have a few select friends who do understand him.

You'd have noticed that he never ventured deeply into the seas that he had not mastered as an authority,... and found what others brought to the table to be of great interest and stimulated the drive in her to better understand those topics.

Moonbeam was not run off nor could he be run off... She, as I said before, is vapor... an unique kind of vapor that exists but is only reflection... reflection of what is directed toward him. One really cannot hurt the ego of a Moonbeam... not hardly!

No... I'm not he nor is she me... We are quite different actually... but we do see the same colors when we view them. (so to speak) For instance: Moonbeam finds God within the person - probably - while I believe God is that dude what sits on a cloud trying to get the clergy and the lay folks to recognize he and not they are God...

We, the Moonbeam and I, are, in my opinion, neither rebel nor empire affiliates. My forte is based on my education whilst his is based on a keen awareness of the realities he has encountered and they are quite different interests. I'd say that Socrates said it best... IF Plato got it right... "The only thing I know for sure is that I know nothing for sure"... No one else does either me thinks.

Please tell him/her that DSF misses him/her too! I'm so confused!

Me three, thanks LunarRay for posting your insights.

LL, one insight I know for sure within the parameters of my 'sure'... is that he knows the pain within some folks and as a physician of the mind cannot nor would not give up on trying to find a means to cure those she encounters. The only person I know of who has no ego.... amazingly true. But with the eyesight and insight of the eagle.

Good to hear, he's a good guy and his posts are often poetic and deep.

EDIT: Oops! A good lady and her posts are often poetic and deep. If I knew that, I'd forgotten it.

Hey LR! I was going to give him a call but of course I can't find it. Let him know I too was asking and maybe fire his number off to me if he would. I too go way back with him as you may remember.
