Moon

Discover had a short write up about the movie a month or so ago... looked promising.

Also found out the Duncan Jones, the director, is David Bowies son.

Saw it last night. Was pretty good, but didn't really break free from the indie weirdness. Certainly not epic, but better than all the other crap that's out right now.

It was very well done, except for the very last line. Totally cheapened the ending. Luckily, it's not something that completely overshadows the rest of the film.

Grr. I'd feel guilty downloading a small budget film like this instead of watching it at the theater. It's not making that much money to begin with... hell, there were only 5 people in the theater where I was watching it.

This is the kind of movie I WANT my money to go to... not some $200 million dollar blockbuster squeal of a comic book or action figure movie like everything else coming out this summer.

I think he said... it's not showing...

Ethics of downloading films aside.

I saw it a few weeks ago in LA after seeing the trailer during my business travel to Taiwan. Great movie. Simple, solid sets, convincing, humorous, and sad.
