April: KT266, much hyped, Status: now de-hyped, rumor knows revision "KT266 Pro" is coming
May: SiS 735, a kind of "exotic" hype. Status: flat: no talk anymore
June: nVidia crunch, the very big hype. Status: ongoing and growing
July: ?

😀

Crunch? Are you referring to Crush? That's really not a motherboard, just a chipset..

Also, I'd say that the SiS 735 hype hasn't stopped - Everyone is just waiting for released products. Now is just the calm before the storm.

Though it may look good in paper, everyone knows the real deal is not to "talk the talk" but to "walk the walk"! 🙂

I call it crunch, you now captain crunch? GF2 on-board video, jesus, back to the early 90s?that is for mom and pop. Sure it's a chipset, as is SiS 735, and as is KT266, all chipsets.

I like this with the "calm before the storm"!! The Storm will come when? Xmas?

But at least you would agree that the KT266 is now de-hyped? I remember very well March and April here! o lalalala
