They stain and color the efforts of the many. Look at those pictures. Every "sweep" brought innocent civilians into that prison. The army report said 60% of the prisoners in Abu Ghraib should be released. Soldiers in street sweeps and mass arrests have a hand in the torture of innocents.

To begin with, this "torture" you so proudly speak of isn't widespread or at least hasn't been confirmed as such. The Taguba report is also three months old, if I'm not mistaken. Soldiers involved with street sweeps and mass arrests are taking defensive measures in accordance with the Rules of Engagment and policies set forth by those above them. Mistakes will happen.

Maybe you should read some more Hersh Article, Taguba report.

This is a systemic problem and there is an ongoing investigation. And arresting people randomly after an attack may be "defensive measures in accordance with the Rules of Engagment " but they still result in THOUSANDS of innocent people being thrown into this hell-hole of a prison.
