Monster or Rockstar?

Monster's white 0 cal ones are amazing. I used to drink Rockstar but I've mostly switched.

Are those the ones that go down kind of smooth? They have good flavor but I like something that hits the throat a little harder. The regular blue ones have enough carbonation for a good flavor and throat hit.
 
All that stuff tastes like cough syrup to me. Of all the things I don't get, from hip-hop to twerking, energy drinks might be the thing I get the least.
 
I buy both pretty indiscriminately. I do look for one with zero carbs, but all I do with either one is gulp them down like they're filled with crack, so taste isn't a major concern of mine.

Normal Rockstar tastes like pennies.

I can do the blue one though.

I like Monster 0 carb. Although I don't drink any of them anymore. Espresso shots FTW.

Have you only tried the "standard" original energy drink flavors? They definitely aren't for everyone - I was never a huge fan but when they were the only flavors, I preferred the original Monster. Then Monster came out with Assault, a cola-flavored one, and I got hooked.

Now, you don't have to drink nasty flavors to get to the sweet sweet taste of energy and win. Xyience Cherry Lemonade is absolutely delicious. And I really enjoy the Monster Rehab Lemonade+Tea (or the Pink Lemonade variant). They also have an Orangeade mix. Those are the 10cal variant, and they aren't carbonated, or if they are, it is very minimal.
 
I like the Rockstar in the red and black can. Kinda Hawaiian-Punchy. Some of their other flavors are also okay.

But regular Rockstar tastes like asshole. Regular Monster tastes like ground-up carbonated Fruit Loops with a bit of antifreeze.

And 'zero carb' anything is fucking terrible.

I tried a Red Bull once, and a Monster once. I also think I have a repressed memory of trying a Rockstar. I guess I prefer to get my caffeine the old-fashioned way.
