i think it is strongarm tactics. they aren't expecting to win, or even go to trial for that matter. i think they want to scare people into saying "it's not worth the hassle" and giving up. the less instances of monster on the internet, the more times they come up on a search, among other reasons. i think it's sneaky and underhanded, but effective.

I agree. This needs to posted on every forum on the internet. Also the big retailers and small retailers need to be made aware of this. I know the big (local) audio/visual store (soundtrack) i shop at will be made aware of this. THis is total BS!
