So, monsoon started around 7:30 at my house. (North Phoenix). At 8:30 had to drive to Snottsdale unexpectedly. Loop 101 was fine on the way up. Left Douchebagsdale at 9:20, got on the 101 westbound. Surprise, surprise, some idiot did something idiotic and all traffic had to diverted. Took us 30 minutes to move up one exit and an hour to get home. :|

The weather was very nice though, I didn't even have to run the AC. :)

Dude, is my car going to be okay?

we checked as soon as we got back. It's high enough to not do any damage.

Cool, thanks.

I just got home and you were passed the f--- out.

Yeah, I was. Passing the f--- out FTW

I'm just hoping it happens this evening when I'm home and have a chance to watch it. I hate it when I'm stuck at work and don't get to enjoy the scenery. :frown:

We weren't invited CO. KR lost his thumb drive that contains the passwords for everyone's server plus all his projects. We had to search for that. It sucked.

Shitty. At first glance I thought you were saying KR lost his thumb. That would be tragic.

Luckily he still has both of his thumbs. Lollerskates. Anyway, we found the drive. On the floor in his office lobby. Close call.

Same here. It only took a few minutes for the whole house to feel sticky. I hate that part.

most of the d-bags you run into scottsdale are more than likely from another part of the valley. they come here to party on the weekends and act like asses giving the people that live in scottsdale a bad rep. :D

We had a meeting at the Valley Ho (hotel) on Wednesday and then dinner at Cowboy Ciao...I definitely think that I'll enjoy Scottsdale once I know more people and have a comfortable group to go out with. I know a lot of people don't like it, but I guess I'll see for myself. One night it'll be a dive bar for me, the next it'll be a posh nightclub.

Monsoon

Monsoon 2

Monsoon 3

This one just started, I took these after about 5 minutes into the storm. It's still coming down hard about 20 minutes later. There's a flash flood warning for my county for another hour or so, but honestly here I just have to worry about flooded streets

You are probably right. :) I don't think everyone in Scottsdale is a D bag, but I have experienced a few.
