Well I consider my self an audiophile...but speaker wire is overrated. I can see the difference in speakers easily, but I've taken walmart brand 12 gauge, and monster, and some other 40$ speaker wire cable and couldnt tell the difference, went back and forth....
At some point, the rate of distinguishable change is not sufficient to warrant the change in price. Some loser will say that he can tell the difference...And to he who wishes to be such an egotistical prick that he can show off his speaker wire, kudos. I'd much rather save the money, or donate it to a charity. Feeding the poor, and helping cure disease certainly sounds much better than your speaker wire expenditures.
