Me and a few friends of mine went and saw Tropic Thunder yesterday. Great movie by the way. We were low on cash so we got an extra large drink and shared it.
Find out today that 30 minutes ago one of those friends has mono. He just found out today. He has has a sore throat for a few days.
Anyways....
Symptoms usually appear 4-7 weeks after being introduced to the virus and are:
* constant fatigue
* fever
* sore throat
* loss of appetite
* swollen lymph nodes (commonly called glands, located in your neck, underarms, and groin)
* headaches
* sore muscles
* larger-than-normal liver or spleen
* skin rash
* abdominal pain
Anyone here had mono before because I am starting a new job very soon and the last thing I need is to get horribly sick.
Would getting as much vitamin c and other immune system boosters help fight this?
Thanks..
