Monkey Island Madness

I'll be purchasing Monkey Island Madness for roughly the same price as a new game, but what the heck... I gots to have it! Anyway, does Monkey Island Madness include the speech pack for both 1 and 2?

I don't think the first two games had speech.

You're probably right. I think the only benifit the CD version had was CD audio and a better interface.

Edit: New question... Are the two monkey island games on Monkey Island Madness exactly the same as the stand alone Monkey Island 1 and 2 games?

yeah, should be both full games.

They're awesome and worth whatever price you pay!

I loved the 3rd game the best.

4th one was alright

I liked the second one the best. The fourth one would have been equally good if it wasn't for the last 5% or so of the game, which sucked.

As much as I loved 1-3, I don't remember even finishing the 4th. It just wasn't nearly as fun.

Yes, but I believe that it also contains CD tracks of the soundtrack for Monkey Island 1. It's still synth tracks but some people are fanatical about hearing the music in the original Roland synths that they were made on.

From what I know, Monkey Island Madness is the enhanced CD version of both Monkey Island 1 and 2 on a single disc with the soundtrack for Monkey Island 1 in CD Audio included on the disc. It was originally included in the Lucasarts Archive Series Volume 3 set.

I received the CD today. Very fast, but I guess for $47 it should be. The games play great in DOSBox.
