Evertime I turn on my computer, the monitor screen says "No Signal" I have tried various things to fix this problem such as plugging and unplugging the monitor, changing monitor screens. Nothing seems to work. If anyone could give me hints, I would be grateful! Thanks!

What brand\model monitor?

What OS?

What video card?

Does the monitor ever come on?
Please describe your problem as clearly and detailed as you can.
 
Does your video card require an external power? If so, plug in the power. AGP?
Try swap the monitor to a different computer and see if the monitor is working correctly.
Try change your video cable, there might be a short somewhere.
Does your monitor support 2 or more inputs? If so, make sure you have selected the right input.
