Evertime I turn on my computer, the monitor screen says "No Signal" I have tried various things to fix this problem such as plugging and unplugging the monitor, changing monitor screens. Nothing seems to work. If anyone could give me hints, I would be grateful! Thanks!!

No Signal means that the monitor is not receiving a signal from the computer. The monitor is working fine or you wouldn't see the message. Possible casues:

- The computer is not POSTing (your fans and lights might be coming on but it's not doing anything else)

- Your monitor cable is disconnected or broken

- Your video card is bad

I remember once when I was working on mine I hooked up everything in the back in a hurry fired her up and got no signal...it was like what the...
Then I realized I had hooked it to the onboard video port in my haste instead of the agp slot:eek:
