Monitoring network lag over time

Hi All,

Long time, mostly lurker, asking for advice.

Lately during my gaming (League of Legends) sessions I've been getting bouts of high latency/lag. I'd like to confirm this is from their servers and not my own connection.

I'm thinking I just need a monitor/tracker that tells me my lag to some other connection to compare to the latency I can see via the in game number.

What's the easiest way to do this? I'm using windows xp, is there something built into that, or an easy application to use?

Thanks much for help.

go to dslreports.com
Register for the site and they have a connection monitor that will monitor your connection over a period of time to determine its quality. They do it all from their site so no software is needed.
