I got a new Samsung 955df 19" flat tube monitor a while back. I like it, expcept at certain refresh rates, it seems to wobble side to side. IF you get closer to the screen, you can really see it. At its worst, you can even see slight flickers in a pure white background. Specifically, it does it at refresh rates of 70, 72, 75, and occaisionally 85hz. Normally my eyes dont mind a refresh of 75 or so, but this seems wrong. I would just run at a higher refresh to get around the problem too, but i cant- the monitor only supports 75hz when running at 1280x1024 or even 1280x 960. ARRRRRGGGG i cant freakin figure this out.
Should i just take it to the techs at Best Buy and see if they can find anything wrong with it, or is it an interferance thing? Also, im runnning a lot of things off of this power outlet. Could it be that the monitor is getting "dirty" power? If so, would a Battery Backup with Automatic Voltage REgulation help???
Please, if you have any ideas, throw them out there cause im at a loss.
Thanks guys
Butch
BTW: some times after i switch settings, it seems to be okay for a few minutes, but then it starts up again. Degaussing kinda helps, but not all the time.
