Hey guys,

so I was getting a new side monitor and I'm quite disappointed. It's http://www.lg.com/ae/monitors/lg-27MP75HM.

Compared to the monitor ( tv ) I'm using right now, the colors are just bleh, e.g yellow looks more yellow-brownish. As I'm not sure whether I'm able to desbribe it properly, I took a picture of both so you can see for yourself.
Is it an IPS thing and I should just get a TN panel to get the colors I'm after or it's something else?

Possible causes that crossed my mind:
1) It's IPS thing
2) The new monitor I got is bad
2) The new monitor is displaying colors correctly and my old monitor has trashy colors despite I find them way better
3) It's cuz my old monitor is a TV and there's for some reason a difference.

Does anything pop on your mind guys? Don't hesitate to recommend me a certain monitor to get if you know the colors are those I want, it has VESA mount and it's 27".

Any help appreciated.

P.S: The monitor/tv I'm using is Samsung ue32eh5000

Supposedly it is color calibrated. Have you tried running color calibration software that may have come with it?

Good choice. I have a pair of Dell IPS 24 inchers. Agree!
