Hi. I have an Envision EFT920 19" CRT. I bought it off Newegg on 3/9/05. It was working fine, until last Sunday. I was playing HL2 and loaded a save, and the screen turned grey. Now, that is all it displays. I checked all the connections, tried a new power cable, nothing seems to work. Is there anything I can try to do to it, or should I just go ahead and RMA it?

Has anybody else had any experience with Envision and RMAs?
 
I have experience with RMAing an AOC monitor. Envision & AOC monitors are manufactured by the same company, EPI.

Their RMA process is okay. Better than some but not as good as others. I'm sure you won't have any problems since your monitor is only a few months old and still under warranty.

 
Try it on another computer. If it works right on another computer, then the problem is the video card. If it doesn't, it's the monitor.
