monitor trouble

well i just built a new computer, and a LCD monitor, when i play games on the new pc with the LCD monitor, after about an hour, the monitor will turn off, and the orange light will come on, than if i turn the monitor off and back on, it will turn off in about 5 seconds and go back to the orange light, and this will happen constantly... so i switched it up with a CRT monitor and it works fine. but I used the same LCD that kept turning off and used it on my other pc, and it worked fine for like an hour, any ideas? thanks.

got another LCD you can test it with? or perhaps another video card you can quickly throw in there and give it a whirl.?
 
contact the manufacturer of the lcd, and ask them - it might be a problem with a batch - remember to supply a serial number to them
